Gluten-Free Feature Friday: 4 Easy, On-The-Go Oatmeal Cups

Oatmeal is a great way to get a healthy breakfast on-the-go! And, if you are anything like me, grab-and-go breakfasts are lifesavers!

With these easy to-go cups, you get a nutritious boost of fiber, protein, healthy fats, and tons of vitamins and minerals in a snap! What a great way to start out your day!

Premade oatmeal cups have been available in supermarkets for some time now. But, until recently, very few made with gluten-free oats.

These cups can costs anywhere between $3-$4 per cup at the store, which is certainly NOT in my budget! I thought, "I can surely make these for a fraction of the cost!"

And, viola, I have!! These babies cost me about $0.75 per cup!! What a steal, right?!

During my internship, I had these oatmeal cups every, single day. I would prep a batch of these on Sunday and my breakfast was ready to go all week long!

All I had to do was turn on my Kuerig and throw a kettle of water on the stove. I'd be out the door with oatmeal and coffee (another morning essential for me) in hand in 10 minutes! Then I'd gobble up my oatmeal once I got to my rotation site.

Here are the 4 super-easy, super-healthy on-the-go oatmeal cup recipes!

Pinch of Salt

1 Tbsp Chopped Walnuts

Summer Berry On-The-Go Oatmeal Cup

Blueberry Walnut On-The-Go Oatmeal Cup

1/2 Cup Gluten-Free Quick Oats
1 Tbsp Coconut Palm Sugar
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds

Raisin Medley On-The-Go Oatmeal Cup

1/2 Cup Gluten-Free Quick Oats
1 Tbsp Coconut Palm Sugar
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
Pinch of Salt
2 Tbsp Dried Raisins, Golden Raisins, Cherries, and Blueberries (I use this mix from Trader Joe's)
1 Tbsp Chopped Walnuts

Just fill these oatmeal cups with hot water, screw the lid back on, and let sit for about 5 minutes. Then dig in to delicious, heart-warming breakfast!

The best part about these recipes is that you can mix and match with your favorite toppings. Play with the recipes however you'd like.

PIN ME!
And for days when you're really in a rush, just grab the cups on your way out the door, add water, and microwave once you get to work (or class. or wherever you are going!)

I bought these half-pint mason jars at Target to store my oatmeal for the week. However, you can use any type of half-pint mason jars you would like (I just thought these looked super cute!)

What is your go-to breakfast when you're in a rush?!
