Gluten-Free Feature Friday: The Best Gluten-Free Pumpkin Finds This Fall

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year! And for many reasons, such as:

Cuddly sweaters.
Hot cups of tea.
Oversized scarves.
Apples and cinnamon.
My birthday.
Football.
and..

PUMPKIN!!

Yes, my friends, I am a fellow "pumpkin fanatic"...

It would be a lie if I said I haven't been drooling over all the new 2015 pumpkin-flavored products hitting the supermarket this fall! But as exciting as all these new pumpkin-pack selections are, none of them are gluten-free!!

Well, maybe those pumpkin spice Peeps are, but who wants to try those?!

OK, fine. Maybe I do a little..
.
But that's all about the only option these lists give us!

WAY TO BREAK A GIRL'S HEART, RIGHT?!

Let's show a her ALL these delicious, pumpkin-filled goodies that she. can. never. have...

Well, I am here to provide some pumpkin salvation for all us who need to walk this Earth avoiding the ever-present gluten, yet have been put under pumpkin's glorious spell!

Here are some awesome, gluten-free pumpkin treats that you will NEED to get your hands on this fall!

Pumpkin Spice Yogurt

Want to indulge in some creamy, pumpkin-y goodness?! Might I present a delicious pumpkin spice yogurt! Whether you enjoy it as snack or a healthy dessert, all that matters: it's pumpkin. Check out Chobani's or Trader Joe's Pumpkin Spice Greek Yogurt!

Pumpkin Hard Cider

Now, last year (before I discovered my gluten-sensitivity) I was able to enjoy all the wonderful pumpkin beers St. Louis had to offer (like Schlafly's Pumpkin Ale! Delish!!) This year, however, I can only live vicariously through my non-gluten-sensitive friends who can chug all the pumpkin beer they want. BUT, I am happy to discover that pumpkin hard ciders DO, in fact, exist!! Now I can get my drank on and my pumpkin on at the same time! One cider I am excited to check out is Woodchuck's Pumpkin Cider!

Trader Joe's Pumpkin O's

Now, it might not say it on the box pictured, but the new box of Trader Joe's Pumpkin O's CLEARLY states that they are gluten-free (and a quick read-through of the ingredients verifies this claim!) Who needs gluten-free Cheerio's when you can have Pumpkin O's?! This is only one of the numerous gluten-free pumpkin items from TJ's, like their pumpkin macaroons, pumpkin butter, and delicious pumpkin soup. My only hope is that they bring back their gluten-free pumpkin pancake mix this season! Please, TJ's, please! (Also, if you could make that pumpkin cheesecake GF, too, that would be great! :-D )

Nature's Path Organic Pumpkin Spice Waffles

Just in case TJ's does not bring back their GF pumpkin pancake mix, at least we have Nature's Path Organic Pumpkin Spice Waffles! Not only are they gluten-free, but they are also organic! It's a total pumpkin win-win! Breakfast + Pumpkin = Heaven!

Udi's Pumpkin Muffins

Every October I get a free pastry for my birthday from Panera. And every year, I would use that for one of their delicious pumpkin muffins! This autumn tradition has now come to a close (unless Panera starts crankin' out some gluten-free ones... *hint* *hint*) But, that doesn't mean my love of pumpkin muffins has to end, because I can just go grab some Udi's Pumpkin Muffins! Then I can enjoy 4x the pumpkin muffin-ness!

Breads from Anna Gluten-Free Pumpkin Bread Mix

I first saw this brand last week as I was walking around the Schnuck's near my apartment. I guess I didn't look close enough, because I did not see that all their products are gluten-free! I've heard some good things about these mixes, and I love that they use bean and chia flours for added nutritional benefits! I might look into picking this up soon to make for Anthony and I! Be sure to check out their Gluten-Free Pumpkin Bread Mix, along with all their other mixes!

TAZO's Chai Pumpkin Spice Tea

#PSL might be all the range this season (and kudos Starbucks for finally making it with real pumpkin), BUT it is still going to be heavy on the calories. So if you want that warm, fuzzy goodness of a PSL without wrecking havoc on your waistline, TAZO's Chai Pumpkin Spice Tea is where it's at! A nice, strong cup of this with a splash of almond milk (or this homemade pumpkin spice creamer), and you got yourself the perfect compliment to that snuggly sweater you're sportin'! And for the price of one drink at Starbucks, you got yourself 20 with this box! Who knew being frugal tasted so good?!

These are just a few of the pumpkin products I can't wait to sink my teeth in this fall!
