The Best 98 Healthy Recipes

As I said last week, March is National Nutrition Month! NNM is sponsored by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics to help spread the message of the power of a healthy diet and lifestyle!

The theme this year is "Take a Bite Out Of A Healthy Lifestyle!"

So this week is all about healthy bites! I have rounded up 98 of the healthiest, most delicious recipes you can find on the internet!


You may be thinking where I got the magical number of 98. Well class, today's post will be a bit of a history lesson! (No grumbling!! History rocks!)

While dietetics may seem like it's a new, emerging field, The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics was actually founded back in 1917 by a group of women in Cleveland, Ohio. The women's mission was to help government conservation of food and improve the health of the public during WWI!

Now, in 2015 the Academy is based out of Chicago, IL and consists of over 250,000 members! Today, the organization is "committed to improving the nation's health and advancing the profession of dietetics through research, education and advocacy."

Since the group was founded in 1917, that makes the Academy 98 years old this year!! (My, Academy, you are looking good for your age!)
