How To Improve Your Relationship With Coffee

Ah, coffee.... You are one of my true loves. The way you comfort me into a conscious state every morning. The way you smell and taste oh-so-perfect with just enough creamer...

Oh! Sorry! Didn't see you there!! Pardon me, I was just having a moment with my morning cup of coffee... Oh, don't give me that look! I know all you other coffee addicts do the same thing! :-)

But, you know, my relationship with coffee hasn't always been this perfect. Oh no. There was a time when my precious cup of coffee wasn't as wonderful as it had always led to me believe.

So, I decided it was time trade up...

That's right. I'm kickin' it with organic coffee now! Wha Wha!

Now, I know what you might be thinking... "But Hannah, I can't do that. Organic coffee is TOTALLY out of my league!!"

OR

You might be thinking... "Com'mon now really?? Coffee and I are doing just fine! I don't need to switch to organic!"

Well, friends. I, too, was once like you. I was in denial that anything was wrong with my relationship with conventional coffee. I mean, we had our normal routine. We were both content. Why fix was isn't broken, right?

WRONG!

Very, very wrong. Because it was indeed broken.

And what I didn't realize was that with every sip I was ingesting toxic chemicals and harmful pesticides! In fact, it is said that coffee bean crops are sprayed with 250 pounds of chemical fertilizer per acre!!

Think of all that residue that is swirling in your cup... definitely NOT the residue of love..

And, as we know, toxic relationships aren't just bad for you, but they are also bad for those around you. And the same holds true with your relationship with coffee.

Growing organic coffee is much better for the environment AND better for the workers (if it is bad to drink this stuff, think of how bad it would be to work it in EVERY DAY!) This is because, more likely than not, organic coffee growers are abiding by sustainable growing practices. You also usually see the Fair Trade seal right along with the USDA Organic seal.

So, honestly, you owe it to yourself (and the world) to break it off with your conventional coffee! Because you shouldn't settle for ordinary when you deserve extraordinary!

Nothing beats the fresh smell of coffee!
Just like with men, when it comes to coffee, you need to have standards. Luckily, when a coffee is USDA Organic verified, you can rest assured that your getting the best of the best! And what exactly does that snazzy little seal mean? Well. it means:

"Organic agriculture produces products using methods that preserve the environment and avoid most synthetic materials, such as pesticides and antibiotics." - USDA.gov

Yeah, I would say those are pretty good standards!

And now that you are back on the coffee market, I want to take the stress out of searching for your new soul  coffee mate. (And no, I don't mean that wanna-be creamer... That is a post for another day!)

Might I introduce you to WAVE3 Organic Coffee!
