Kale Chips: A Super Snack!



Instead of boring potato chips, add a superfood to your superbowl festivities! Try baked kale chips. Kale is rich in calcium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin K, and a slew of other vitamins and minerals. This relative of the cabbage family has quite a resume of health benefits.  Trade in the cholesterol,  sodium, processed disaster known as potato chips for this recipe!!



What you need:
-Bunch of Kale
-Olive oil cooking spray
-A bit of iodized salt

What you do:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Wash kale and pat dry
- Spread out kale on cookies sheet covered with parchment paper
- Lightly spray kale with olive oil spray
- Season lightly with salt
- Bake until edges are brown, about 10-15 minutes

You can mix the spices for the chips to be spicy, garlic-y, or whatever you fancy! What combinations have you tried?!
